High water, rain, and stubborn steelhead that refused to push upriver made fishing extremely difficult for everyone during our four days of fishing with guide Greg Liu on the Salmon River at the Douglaston Salmon Run in Pulaski, N.Y. Loosing my wallet on the last day of fishing did not make things any better.
