A report from Eric for mikescatchreport.com
After all the rain we’ve been having ended, I decided to hit the flats to try my luck fly fishing for some bones.
I got to the park around 6:30am and the sun was just starting to rise. I started to fish at my spot where I had caught fish before, and after half an hour I hooked and landed a three pound bonefish.
After snapping a few pictures I let it go to fight another day then I walked out towards the breakers--about 10 yards and began to cast.
Holy moly! I got a huge strike. This fish hit and ran way, way out. This one was a big boy. I thought this fish was not going to stop but I finally managed to turn the fish towards me. When I got it in I saw that this was a fat boy.

After a couple of pictures with Mr. Fish I walked to The Rock and made a few casts. I hooked up with another big one but could not stop it from heading for the reef and it cut me off and got away. That put an end to my Sunday fishing adventure.
