A short report by Eric for mikescatchreport.com

I went fishing Saturday morning as the tide was rising. There was little wind and the water was like glass.
I made three nice casts, by my standards, and on the third cast—hook up.

This felt great because I haven’t had a hook up in a while. The fish ran a nice ways out then made its way back in.
After a few more short runs I had it in hand.

EQUIPMENT: Fast action 7 to 9 weight rods with floating lines and heavy leaders to withstand runs through the coral. Fly sizes from 2 to 10, weighted and unweighted depending on water depth and fishing condition.
